This is a great opportunity to join a very successful global investment firm, which continues to outperform many of its larger competitors. The office is medium sized and enables significant exposure to a variety of corporate transactions.
In this position, amongst other responsibilities, you will:
Oversee a small team of Corporate Secretaries, manage workload, provide training and carry out reviews and appraisals
Provide legal and corporate advice to senior management and operational teams
Maintain proper legal records and files, whilst providing complete corporate governance
Manage the corporate governance of the Luxembourg office
Act as central point of contact with clients, service providers and other offices
Be closely involved in restructuring and/or setting up new investment structures
Prepare, minute and attend Board meetings
Act as liaison with investors and shareholders, responsible for issuing capital transactions and shares, organizing share transfers
Assist in the financial reporting to investors
Remain knowledgeable of changing industry regulations and advise clients
Hold a number of Directorships on company boards
Liaise with external parties, including lawyers, notaries, and service providers
In order to qualify for this position, you will have:
6 to 12 years' experience as a Company Secretary in a regulated funds environment in Luxembourg
3+ years team leadership experience is essential
LUXEMBOURG EXPERIENCE is a must have
Experience in Alternative Investment funds, considered a plus
University degree in Law, Finance, or similar field is required
Fluent in English; both written and verbal is a must have with another European language considered a plus
Excellent organization and communication skills
Proactive and positive personality with strong integrity
Highly accurate with good attention to detail
Ability to challenge the norm
