Working in partnership with the Director General, HR and other HR team members, the HR Business Partner will drive and implement operationally excellent HR services to the Bank in alignment with the overall business strategy. They will demonstrate continual improvement with the business to provide strategic advisory and support services and ensure that they deliver highly effective HR services to their clients to the Bank and its staff. This role will report to the Senior Human Resource Business Partner.
Background A trusted advisor who provides advice and support to AIIB and staff on the entire employee life cycle, working closely with the HR centers of expertise . They should be able to explain complex HR issues, build trust and gain agreement. The role requires a high level of interaction with Bank employees of all levels and with the HR centers of expertise. They will be r esponsible for providing HR support staff across different departments. This role has n o direct budget responsibility.
Partner with the Bank to analyze and interpret business needs, identify trends and work with the HR team to translate these into HR solutions.
Provide experienced advice and guidance to the HR Department in order to support, influence and challenge the Bank in the implementation of HR policies and procedures in order to ensure better business performance.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of all HR elements of the employee life cycle and policies in order to mitigate legal and reputational risk and to meet business needs.
Responsible for managing, mediating and facilitating sensitive, delicate or problematic employee relations issues, mitigating grievances and maintaining business continuity.
Play a key role in maintaining an environment with good employee relations and a high level of staff engagement and trust.
Coach clients in the development of their people management skills (leadership, communications etc) to improve performance management and increase trust.
Decide on resource planning measures, succession planning and talent development collaboratively with the the Bankand Talent Management teamand identify short/long term solutions to achieve appropriate staffing to meet needs.
Analyze, interpret and use various HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide guidance to the Bank.
Provide organizational effectiveness support, including analyzing organizational design, developing high performing teams and increasing cooperation between departments.
Lead organizational change within the Bank by providing change management strategies and stakeholder analysis, and defining and implementing communications.
Work collaboratively across the HR team in order that the Bank receives fast, accurate and high-quality services.
Other relevant duties as required.
Extensive and proven professional HR generalist experience, preferably gained in the financial services sector.
Graduate (minimum degree) in relevant discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
Proven track record of delivering results.
Experience in operating with excellent judgment in a demanding client-facing role.
Strong partnership, influencing, problem-solving and client-orientation skills to enable positive engagement with stakeholders throughout the Bank.
Skills in facilitation, counselling and mediation.
Experience in change management, succession and workforce planning and talent management.
Fluent in English, both written and oral.
Experience working in a multi-national environment with a diversified workforce.
