While they are a London headquartered company, this position will sit in a satellite office and as a result will require relocate. Private accommodation is provided and the monetary benefits of working in a low tax environment would also make it highly attractive from a financial perspective. The total compensation package (including the likes of bonus and accommodation) would most likely be £55k+.
Once the person becomes accustomed to the requirements of the role, it is expected they will need to spend a number of days working alongside some of the London based Quants every couple of months. The company has high academic hiring standards and requires candidates with a 2:1 degree in a related subject.
It would be advantageous if this person had solid VBA &/or SQL skills, with any further technical skills like C++ or Python being seen as a huge plus.
You must be self-motivated, a good communicator and possess the technical skills to provide the desired level of support.
Ideally, you will have transferable experience working in an Application Support capacity. They are happy training someone up once they have the right motivations and can demonstrate some solid transferable skills, even if from a different sector.
