As an independent function within the Roche Group, Group Audit provides assurance to the Senior Management and the Board of Directors by assessing the inherent risks managed by the organisation is, as well as the efficiency and compliance of business operations. Within Group Audit, the North America and Group Functions team is in charge of assessing IT organisations and processes. We are a multicultural and dynamic team based in Basel, Switzerland. As a Senior IT Auditor:
You will be responsible to assess risks, lead and deliver (primarily) IT audits across multiple disciplines, including:
IT Governance and alignment to business objectives
Project and programme reviews, incl. organisational transformation and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
IT security, infrastructure and networks
Emerging and disruptive technologies (e.g. robotics process automation, artificial intelligence, etc.)
Data and information governance
You will partner with stakeholders, including senior leaders of the IT organisation, to develop an understanding of their organisations. You will execute the scope of the audits, communicate the results and make recommendations.
You will also be responsible to follow up on issues and actions to ensure they are completed satisfactorily.
The position involves travel world-wide (approx. 30%).
Proven experience (7 - 10 years) as Internal IT Auditor, or strategic consulting (Big4) on IT projects.
You have solid academic credentials (university degree), ideally in IT or business administration.
Business proficiency in English (written and verbal) is a must, further languages are an advantage.
Solid technical acumen is required in IT. While you do not need to be an expert in all of the areas listed above, you should have an appreciation of many of them. Process and risk knowledge is a distinct differentiation.
Strong team player and excellent communication/influencing/negotiating skills.
Critical thinking, growth mindset and analytical skills are essential characteristics to drive success in this role.
