Candidates for the role will possess the following skills and experience:
Minimum of three years relevant fund sales experience gained at either a placement agent, third-party marketing firm, asset management firm, investment boutique or fund distribution platform
Proven track record of successfully selling investment strategies and products to institutional and professional investors in the UK, Continental Europe or Asia
Established client franchise and relationships with insurance companies, pension funds, banks, fund-of funds, private banks, high-end wealth managers, foundations, endowments and family offices
We cover the full gamut of strategies but, given their technical complexity, we need our salespeople to have a solid know-how of credit-based investment strategies combined with the ability to articulate, explain and position these strategies to our sophisticated investor base
Fluency in another language would be an advantage in the role.

Excellent sales, relationship management and negotiation skills

Strong intellect, but with the ability to interact with both clients and colleagues
Experience of working with a CRM system (BSC use Salesforce) and a culture of maintaining and working with such a system
Superior oral and written communication skills
Keenness to travel extensively for business
Sound judgement and a high level of professional and personal integrity
The chosen candidate should ideally be a graduate or post-graduate. Further qualifications such as CFA (I,II,III), CAIA or an MBA are not required but will be viewed as an additional asset.
