Responsible to deliver a world-class, fully-automated Management Information (MI), Analytics & Process Innovation capability to support service delivery within the Service Company Controller & Cost Allocations (SC&A) team.
Influence the function's strategy for MI, Analytics & Innovation, optimizing the use of cutting-edge technological developments to ensure internal clients have access to self-service tools analytical tools whilst minimizing any residual manual production effort.
Enable Group Finance to continue driving process efficiency gains through the identification and delivery of service / process innovation, ensuring that the group function continues to operate efficiently, maximizing the overall contribution to the Credit Suisse business, profitability and underlying shareholder value.
Define the vision, strategic priorities and goals of the SC&A team in 2020 and beyond.
Design and develop new automated MI solutions to drive efficiency, enhance capability and improve the control environment for internal clients.
Find opportunities and deploy solutions that utilize data science / analytics to enhance client value through financial insight.
Embed a robust data governance framework
Establish a team-wide process innovation programme that can drive operational improvements, especially automation.
Lead a highly skilled team ensuring a focus on team engagement, citizenship and both the personal and professional development of team members.

Detailed knowledge of the latest technological developments within the fields of MI and financial reporting, Business Intelligence (BI), analytical tools (inc. Data Science / Machine Learning), data management.
Development experience with at least one BI tool such as Qlik Sense (preferably), Tableau, Power BI etc.
Proficiency of IT data infrastructure including database technologies, ERPs, ETL processes, Managed Data Layers etc.
Equivalent work experience of process innovation / efficiency techniques including design thinking, robotics, Lean and/or Six-Sigma.
Detailed understanding of principles along with practical examples of data science applications in an FS Finance Function (candidates with some level of practical, hands-on data science development experience will be preferred).
Ability to coordinate and prioritize, deliver multiple tasks and share goals in a fast paced environment.
Ambitious, hardworking individual with outstanding written and verbal communication, project management, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Desirable but not Essential
Bachelor's degree from a reputable University majoring in an analytical subject (note: Candidates with significant, relevant work experience without a degree may qualify)
Proven coding / scripting experience with either VBA, SQL, Python (preferred) or R and / or end-user skills using at least one database / ERP querying tools such as SQL, SAP Business Explorer, PS Essbase etc.
Flexibility working within cross-functional / cross-geography virtual teams and line management skills.
Entrepreneurial mind-set who seeks new ways to identify new opportunities that expand and optimize the service platform.
High level of integrity, work ethic, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards.
