Manage regulatory operations across our trading business, ensuring compliance with critical obligations and reporting requirements.
Our business is highly regulated and requires detailed focus to understand regulatory issues and to develop, improve and manage processes to meet requirements.
You will have an opportunity to work with stakeholders across the business to assess the regulatory operations impact of existing and new business activity / change initiatives and create new operational models and processes to support the delivery of project work. You will obtain direct exposure to trading desks and support functions and, as the role evolves, you will take increasing responsibility for project work.
The role requires a self-starter who is confident to manage new initiatives as well as reviewing and improving existing processes while following a structured approach.
Bringing knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. EMIR, MIFID, REMIT, SFTR etc.) it would be great if you also have strong product knowledge, particularly across commodities, rates and credit. Excellent data analytical skills are needed, including the ability to understand and extract data from trading and risk systems and perform subsequent analysis. A strong risk mindset is critical, as is an overall understanding of front to back trade flows
