My client is a high profile and iconic retail and lifestyle business backed by a global private equity investor. With a growing presence here in Australia and abroad, there is now an opportunity for an experienced corporate finance professional to join the team as a Corporate Development Manager reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
In support of the executive team, the Corporate Development Manager will play a key role in driving the firm's international growth plans, retail & wholesale expansion and other commercial initiatives. The Corporate Development Manager will also take part in designing & implementing the group's long term business plan and overall strategy with the view of optimising business performance. Day-to-day, you will provide the strategic planning, analysis and financial modelling required to support the above initiatives and other investment & growth opportunities.
Candidates will likely have between 6 and 8 years of M&A experience, ideally with experience in corporate advisory from either an investment bank, leading independent advisory firm or top tier CA firm and/or from a commercially minded, high-growth corporate. You will possess the appropriate technical & modelling skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to think commercially and show a high level of comfort in partnering with stakeholders of all levels of a business. This role represents a great opportunity to join an active and varied corporate environment as it looks to take advantage of growth opportunities both here and abroad.
Please note that applicants must have full working rights for Australia.
