A Regional Corporate Bank is offering an opportunity for a lawyer to join their legal department. Due to continued expansion of the business, a mid-level lawyer is needed to come in and support the bank in its daily operations. Your new role
Provide support and assistance to review and legal advisory works such as bilateral loans and term loans
Assist in drafting and reviewing of all legal documents relating to the Bank's business and operation
Assist to conduct legal research and to provide legal update to relevant departments if and when required.
Assist to review policies, procedures and business practices in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and to provide legal advice in relation thereto to relevant departments if and when required.
Provide legal advice and/or support on internal, external and regulatory findings and recommendations if and when needed.
Liaise with external legal counsel on legal works when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Solicitor admitted to practice in Hong Kong
Have at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in handling banking, corporate and commercial works and/or fund and financial service experience;
Possess good legal knowledge and common sense;
Have strong communication, problem solving, analytical and drafting skills;
Hard working, responsible, self-motivated, efficient and attention to details;
Able to work independently;
Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
