Assist mortgage business in the use of Ellie Mae Encompass application.
Lead issues management and routine internal meetings documenting and reviewing all workflow questions escalated by the business line. Leverage strong knowledge of Encompass Software Development Kit (SDK) to address escalated inquiries and improve operational processes.
Develops business requirements and functional specifications for multiple medium to large sized projects using a strong discipline of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to enhance mortgage processes . Ensure all approved enhancement requests are captured, documented, tested and implemented efficiently.
Formulates and defines project scope, objectives, constraints and assumptions using existing documented processes based upon user needs as well as a thorough knowledge of the Ellie Mae Encompass application, business, operations and mortgage industry. Collects and defines requirements, translates into functional design, test planning, and user documentation processes. Provide End User training as needed.
Provides advice to internal mortgage business groups on process improvement projects by analyzing business process flows and identifying changes.
Actively liaise with Ellie Mae to identify new opportunities to improve current processes and facilitate audit trail documentation.
Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues/inefficiencies within existing mortgage processes.
Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives.
Actively influences software development process improvement initiatives. Provides technical consultation concerning business implications of application development projects.
Create reports to track pipeline, production, and execution timeline.
Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred, 4-6 years of experience in a business analyst environment required, experience in the mortgage, securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Ellie Mae Certification and proficiency with the Ellie Mae Encompass application and Encompass Software Development Kit (SDK) preferred.
Ability to readily learn and operate effectively in other business technology applications required.
Proficiency with MS Office preferred.
