In 2019, Winton Group opened a new office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), an international financial centre on Al Maryah Island in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Winton has been active in the Middle East region for over 15 years, and more recently launched its first product dedicated to investing in the rapidly developing Middle East capital markets. As part of our MENA strategy we are seeking to hire an exceptional Product Manager to join the team in Abu Dhabi.
As Product Manager, you will have prior experience of building and maintaining resilient, dynamic and profitable portfolios. You will develop and oversee Winton's current and future MENA quantitative investment strategies.
Establish an expert understanding of Winton's strategies and the likely performance characteristics of different investment profiles
Proactively analyse data, run simulations, and pursue wide-ranging research to improve performance and develop new strategies
Work with the Investment Board to formulate and present plans on strategy development, in order to incorporate new research discoveries
Monitor daily the operation of the strategies, with knowledge of their positions and performance
Co-ordinate with senior managers within the Research, Data and Technology departments to oversee the execution of planned strategy changes
Maintain an expert understanding of all internal, contractual and regulatory constraints that impact the operation of the strategy
An excellent academic record with a bachelors or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
Experience working in an asset manager, hedge fund or investment bank
Strong programming skills (Python)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
Keen interest in Emerging and Frontier financial markets
