This is a private markets investor specialising in fully discretionary primary fund commitments, secondaries and co-investments. It services some of the biggest financial institutions from across North America, Europe and Asia by providing each client with a bespoke portfolio of investments to suit their needs. It deploys significant capital each year, and its reputation in the industry will continue to provide access to the highest-quality investments. It is looking for a distribution professional to drive capital-raising efforts for co-mingled funds and promote separate managed accounts to new institutional investors across Europe. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take the initiative to identify and develop relationships with prospective investors across Europe
Host client meetings, either alongside investment team members or independently, to discuss solutions and convert leads into commitments
Maintain on-going relations with investors - support on queries, performance reviews, and cross sell further solutions
Coordinate internal teams to develop necessary marketing documentation for your investor meetings
Experience in investor relations / fundraising or distributing asset management solutions. Private markets exposure would be an advantage
Some network within the institutional space would be preferred
Strong personal drive to build relationships with new institutional investors across Europe - proactive and entrepreneurial
High level of financial acumen, ideally with a technical background from investing, banking or similar
Effective and confident communicator - additional European languages are an advantage
