Our client is an APAC ex China fixed income fund with a target in professional investors, family offices and high net worth individuals. The company is currently holding SFC type 1, 4 & 9 licenses
This role is responsible for Identifying and developing new relationships with family offices, institutional investors and ultra-high net worth clients in order to promote the fixed income fund
Develop new business partners/distributors, and turn these into productive relationships generating flows in the mid to long term to meet sale targets
Work closely with the CIO and portfolio manager to understand the market trend for products development purpose
Lead the team to develop sales / promotion pitching materials and build up strong channels and exploring now potential clients
This is a position which requires a strong sales background from a sizable Asset Manager with experience in leading the sales team. You also need to have strong product knowledge and coupled with good interpersonal and presentational skills. You will also be a good team leader who innovates and looks for new solutions to existing problems for the team
Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or above
At least 5 - 10 years' experience in Sales, Marketing and Product development from buy side
Exposure in Asia Pacific Region is preferable
Skills & Abilitiees
Proven fund selling track record in sizeable asset management
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Strong problem solving skills
