The role will act as the State Street Global Advisors (GA) North America Billing Lead, responsible for all aspects of the SSGA Billing process for NA based clients, the largest and most diverse set of client base.
The resource will be the key GA Billing liaison working closely with the GA Billing delivery teams and the GA business lines to ensure that Billing delivery is up to the standards.
The resource will have extensive operations and Billing expertise, with a critical focus on process streamlining and client service and delivery. Critical elements of the role will involve enhancements to the Control framework to minimize client Billing errors, transformation mindset so as to be able to streamline the Billing process, and client delivery focus so as to be able to respond to inquires timely and accurately.
The role will work with business leaders and other key stakeholders and partners to deliver change in line with the global Billing strategy, whilst also representing the GA initiatives.
The position will include the following responsibilities:
Manage GA North America Billing process encompassing all NA based GA business lines
Lead process improvement efforts to further streamline the NA client billing process
Instill the control mindset to ensure minimization of client Billing errors
Responsible for establishing and improving service delivery to the GA client relationship teams
Manage, progress and oversee key project activities across GA North America Billing
Responsible for governance, control, and risk management across GA North America Billing
Engage with all business areas and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
Work closely with the broader Global Billing Operations organization to implement high quality controls that adhere to relevant processes and address any potential or existing operational risks within the Billing function.
Identify and manage risks and issues that could impact delivery, detect unstated assumptions, and resolve conflicts
Proactively identify and implement efficiency and process improvements
Ensure all Billing documentation is in place for internal and external Audit reviews and compliance requirements
7 + solid experience in leading operational/billing processes and teams
Demonstrated leadership in improving/building out control environments across geographies and business areas
Significant experience in project management and process delivery
Working knowledge of asset management business lines
Senior-level communication skills, presentation skills, prior experience of interacting with multiple stakeholders
