Work you'lldo Act as a trustedadvisor, providing legal and business advice to engagement teams, businessleaders, quality risk managers, and other stakeholders in connection withmatters of significance to the Deloitte U.S. Firms.
Provides legal and business risk advice regardingcontractual terms, engagement disputes, client relations and practice andcompliance matters.
Works proactively with practitioners to help identify andmitigate engagement risks.
Reviews and/or revises contracts of significantcomplexity, including engagement agreements, subcontract agreements, licenseagreements, confidentiality agreements, third party access letters, clientpolicies and other related agreements.
Negotiates contract terms with clients, subcontractors,vendors, non-client third parties and others.
Provides critical analysis of complex legal and businessrisks, negotiation strategies, client relations and practice and compliancematters.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Individual must be a self-starter with strong leadershipand supervisory skills, who is able to work independently on a broad range ofcomplex client engagements and practice matters.
Individual must be articulate, possess strong analytic,critical thinking and writing skills, be able to manage and prioritize multipleprojects, apply good judgment, and be capable of providing creative solutionsto complex problems affecting important client commitments, multiple businessunits and FSSs, and organizational liability.
Hold a JD or LLM from an accredited US law school, and belicensed to practice law in the United States.
Individual should have at least 10 years of legalexperience (including experience at a large law firm or equivalentorganization).
