Primary focus of the Sr. Marketing Manager is to partner with channel relationship managers and distribution heads to develop, produce and maintain high-impact, cost effective marketing communications and programs that support Columbia Threadneedle's goals of enhancing brand and garnering assets within the Private Client Advisory Group. The individual will collaboratively participate in the development and implementation of channel marketing plans with a focus on Private Banks and Registered Investment Advisors nationally.
Design, develop and execute implementation plan for complex marketing programs or initiatives. Partner with internal or external partners to ensure execution of projects is flawless, on-time, and within budget. Understand, champion and partner closely with channel relationship managers and distribution heads to develop marketing strategy in line with business objectives and goals.
Create communication materials to support programs including new and existing offers and creativities for specific programs. Work across the organization to ensure alignment and integration. Act as brand advocate by having strong familiarity with look, feel, voice and overall brand presence of Columbia Threadneedle. Plan and manage implementation of communications to support sales of products, including the development of new product launch campaign strategies and materials.
Drive measurable program results, with a focus on digital engagement and lead generation. Drive activity that leads prospects along the advisor journey towards consideration to purchase. Track program participation and results, provide recommendations for improvements, and execute approved recommendations quickly. Involved in defining/refining strategies for evolving the asset management business.
Ensure compliance with appropriate SEC/FINRA and corporate guidelines and regulations in all communications.
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
5-7 years of experience of relevant experience as a marketing manager.
Broad knowledge of asset management business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Digital lead generation and client/prospect journey experience a plus.
Financial services experience preferred.
