A great opportunity to bring your energy to our trade floor and help our Tech Assist team provide technology guidance and support. You will take a senior role in the team, providing time critical technology support to our Commodities and Global Markets business, as well as Investment Banking and various support businesses.
Ideally, you will be self-motivated and thrive in a fast paced, and dynamic trade floor environment. It's important that you can demonstrate excellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to build relationships, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
The team you will join is Tech Assist, who are the face of Technology, providing front line support for all Workplace Technologies and support requests. The Team deliver a customer-focused service in a professional and timely manner. You will need to be able to quickly assess client needs and translate these into actions. The role will see you working across all levels of the organisation, including Traders and Senior Business Leaders. Your problem-solving skills and ability to think laterally to find solutions, plus commitment to proactively delivering the solution, will be pivotal to your success in this role.
You will be required to help customers become more self-sufficient through continual user education and run training sessions to help customers be productive with a broad range of technologies. You will also work with Problem Management, Service Owners and other technology teams to deliver continual service improvement and ensure business requirements are being met.
This global team is required to understand local IT compliance and work with offshore teams to ensure obligations are met, including business continuity, external exchange requirements and audit items. To achieve this, alongside external vendor liaison, you will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate and build relationships with internal clients across multiple divisions and geographies. As a senior member of this team we are looking for you to display a good sense of teamwork and the ability to inspire and work well with others. In addition, you will exhibit curiosity, self-motivation, a passion for technology, proactivity and the ability to challenge status quo.
For you to be successful in this position you will have at least 2+ years' and up to 10 years' experience in a trade floor support role, supporting Equities, Fixed Income and/or Commodities businesses.
