The candidate must be well versed in federal/state estate tax laws and compliance requirements. The candidate will be responsible for oversight and management of compliance for estate related filings, including; death tax, generation-skipping transfer tax, fiduciary income tax and inheritance tax returns. The candidate is the primary contact for the Wealth Management tax vendor, internal clients and estate attorneys. The candidate will be the department's subject matter expert and have responsibility of setting policy for department. The candidate will be responsible for quality control of tax vendor estate-related deliverables. The candidate should be able to handle technical research, as well as interpret documents such as wills, trusts instruments and codicils.
Bachelor of Science Degree required. 3 years of related experience required. 10 years of related experience preferred. CPA preferred.
