Risk Marketplace (RMP) is transforming how risk and control partners identify and manage risks in programs and projects. The role of the RMP operating model is to enable delivery excellence and early value realization while keeping the Bank safe. Specifically, it is a centralized marketplace to obtain risk and control guidance to support project delivery.
The Risk Marketplace Implementation Lead plays a pivotal role in the success of new Risk Marketplaces by guiding businesses through implementation activities and ensuring alignment to the RMP Target Operating Model. The Implementation Lead will also Partner with RMP 1B and 2A Teams in identifying, reporting and mitigating RMP TOM issues and will be the subject matter expert on the RMP TOM.
The Implementation Lead will report to the AVP, Risk Marketplace.
Perform readiness assessment for potential RMP candidates
Plan and lead a diverse set of work activities with the businesses supporting implementation
Proactively identifies and tracks implementation risks and issues. Provides transparency and timely escalations to the central governance lead as needed
Monitors and provides effective challenge of RMP 1Bs to ensure alignment to the RMP Target Operating Model (TOM)
Partner with RMP 1B and 2A Teams in identifying, reporting and mitigating RMP TOM issues and be the subject matter expert in the RMP TOM
Participate in the 1B maturity self-assessments process with Corporate ORM and facilitate approval of action plans to advance RMP maturity and challenge effective completion of remediation plans
Review 2A RMP-specific procedures in alignment to RMP standards and guidelines
Responsible to establish/ manage 1B RMP Practice Forum
Facilitate resolution of disputes between 1B and 2A RMP teams
Oversight of execution of the RMP model across the enterprise
Solid knowledge of project delivery methodologies
Solid knowledge of risk assessment process and methods
General knowledge of business risk and regulatory compliance requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to navigate in a space that is not well defined, ambiguous and complex at times
Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills
Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment with colleagues of all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
Completion of post-secondary education
Relevant change management accreditation is an asset
Experience with Project Delivery (including TD Agile) considered an asset
Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated conflict resolution and judgment skills
A dynamic leader with strong planning, flexibility and adaptability skills to handle teams with functional diversity, complexity and multiple points of contact
Good communicator with a positive approach that can liaise with teams, colleagues and partners, to achieve long term goals
Robust organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work in a demanding environment and handle multiple deadlines and priorities
