See yourself in our team The Chief Controls Office is responsible for developing the non-financial risk strategy and supporting Colonial First State (CFS) to proactively reduce risk exposure in the business in the context of our risk appetite.
The Controls Enablement team is responsible for driving a strong risk and control environment across CFS.
Do work that matters Reporting to the Senior Manager Controls Enablement, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of controls to enable better risk and compliance outcomes. On any given day you will:
Identify, lead and manage the continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights and reports;
Manage root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements;
Identify, initiate and manage actions to mitigate risks and to strengthen controls, including issues identified through audits and other external processes;
Be responsible for data quality and maintenance of various databases (including RiskInSite) and monthly management reporting;
Ensure risks are profiled and captured in the Risk Profile (RCSA) and updated when risk trigger events occur;
Be responsible for ensuring the correct risk and controls overlay the end to end process mapping and documentation management to support the control process;
Co-Ordinate regular RiskInsite data quality reviews;
Work effectively with relevant stakeholders to determine optimal course of action to remediate any significant data integrity issues;
Monitor Issues and Incidents across the business and compliance to the Group Operational Risk Management Framework.
We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
Demonstrated experience within Operational Risk Management in Banking / Financial Services;
Superannuation and Investment commercial aptitude and business knowledge;
Controls design experience;
Strong ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels;
Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related subjects.
