Risk Management is responsible for developing and deploying the risk frameworks to allow the Group to take conscious exposures to credit, market, operational, compliance and insurance risks within a Board-approved appetite. Risk Management ensures the Group has appropriate strategies and frameworks in place to assess, manage and report on credit, market, operational, compliance and insurance risks
This role is accountable in providing Business and Private Banking Risk with Strategic insights and analysis of performance of BPB Portfolio
Provide the Business & Private Banking (BPB) and BPB Risk with strategic insights and analysis of the performance of BPB book
Use of data analytics tools and processes (including data extraction, mining and visualization) for BPB credit portfolio analysis and reporting.
Contribute to key strategic projects as an SME that impact and add value to our business and our customers, within Australia's largest bank.
Ensuring all reporting definitions, business rules and processes are documented and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

5+ years' experience, of which at least 3 has been in a banking environment, focusing on data analytics or Quantitative role.
Advanced Analytics skills - Ability to interrogate data and recognize patterns, anomalies, or statistical trends in complex data to generate actionable value-add insights using data tools
Adequate technical skills in SAS and SQL to enable data extraction and analysis. Tableau experience preferable.
Credit Risk understanding Preferred.
Good written and oral communication skills. Advanced experience in producing analytical reports and presenting it to Senior Leadership.
Strong problem solving skills and an ability to collaborate with other colleagues
