See yourself in our team Wealth Risk Management Colonial First State (WRMCFS) is the designated risk management function of Wealth Management, Colonial First State (CFS).
The team acts as trusted advisors to CFS on all risk related matters and also perform all Line 2 functions in accordance with Group requirements.
Do work that matters Reporting to the Senior Manager Risk, you will work closely with the business to support the development and maintenance of a robust Operational risk management framework through optimal risk/reward decisions and assurance. On any given day you will:
Plan, scope and perform detailed risk reviews on business strategy, projects and business processes;
Assist with the implementation of the Group's Risk Management Framework (RMF), including the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), Risk Management Strategy (RMS), Operational Risk Management Framework, and related frameworks and policies.
Oversee issue and incident management, including ensuring breaches are identified and, where required, reported to the appropriate regulator in a timely manner;
Advise CFS on new initiatives, identification and management of emerging risks and risk management practices;
Partner with CFS to develop risk profiles and control frameworks
Coordinate and undertake Line 2 controls testing;
Monitor CFS' compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policies, and standards;
Attend, contribute and report at key business meetings (e.g. Risk Governance Forums).
We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
Wealth Management experience;
Risk management and/or audit experience within Financial Services;
Ability to research, analyse, identify key insights and problem solve through to resolution;
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders.
