You will work alongside members of the Global Business Controls Team with a variety of responsibilities, including:
Assisting with the performance of supervisory review of marketing material for compliance with applicable regulations
Providing support for the continuous enhancement of controls related to SSGA's compliance oversight and operational risk management programs, including assisting in the completion of assigned regulatory risk assessment activities and review of all supervisory programs, and other key projects
Assisting with testing of ICG's controlsThis role is part of the Americas Institutional Client Group and you will report to the Head of Business Controls of that business.
This position requires:
10-12 years of financial services experience, preferably in Business Controls, Sales, Compliance, Audit or Risk
Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, research, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
Capable of producing high quality and/or final work product and solutions in a rapidly changing environment with tight deadlines, including the skill to prioritize and allocate projects and workflow to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Acute attention to detail
Thrive in a highly regulated environment that demands full compliance with policies and procedures
Collaborative by nature with the capability to help others achieve more
Ability to form and cultivate positive relationships with internal partners
Positive attitude that motivates and inspires others
MBA or MS in finance required
