Managing and executing Healthcare Corporate Finance loan transactions. Building trusted partner relationships with clients, investors and key influencers in the business and Healthcare communities;
Key thought leader/strategist with significant interface with SVB regional teams and senior leadership.
Leading execution of transactions; internally and externally leading deal process, underwriting and coordinating the deal team. Overall responsibility for managing internal credit process, presenting to Loan Committee, managing investor and company relationships through a deal process.
Negotiation of all loan documentation including Loan Agreements, Inter Creditor agreements, Security Documentation and fee letters;
Responsibility for expanding a portfolio of existing client relationships focusing on C level relationships, internal credit management and cross sell of bank products.
Working in close collaboration with SVB/Leerink regarding deal referrals and Capital Market transactions.
Be an ambassador for SVB externally, representing SVB at external events promoting the SVB brand and values;
Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell Silicon Valley Bank's broader banking platform with respect to non-debt products.
Line management of Associates and VPs and being a leadership figure on the team.
Leads or participates in (cross team) collaboration projects around business and product development, strategic planning.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
8+ years of business development/lending experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in the Healthcare banking sector with prior sector experience in healthcare services, healthcare IT and specialty pharma.
Significant Capital Markets experience, Corporate Finance focus.
Advanced knowledge of bank operations and products. Cross selling bank products alongside product advisors.
Strong negotiation, marketing and closing skills.
Expertise in risk assessment, setting expectations and managing deteriorating accounts pro-actively.
