Primary responsibilities include underwriting and executing new transactions with a secondary focus on portfolio management, and targeted prospecting.
Underwriting; loan development; modeling
Due Diligence - reviews financials of the company, including assessments of forecast and financial accounting. Generates comments on whether they are logical or not; in conjunction with putting together the model.
Financial Modeling - uses this information to begin to learn the issues or uniqueness of the companies' business model; substantial analysis of financials, and logic of assumptions.
Reads and incorporates this information for the VPs/MDs .
Utilizes analysis and independent judgment to generate recommendations to VP,
Prepare initial diligence list and identifies gaps of information
Participates in diligence calls with the clients
Assists with Loan Committee approval package
· Analyzes credit statistics on existing portfolios. Internal compliance and reporting.
· Processes documents; quarterly portfolio reviews and large loan reviews;
· Researches and analyzes information as directed
· Helps to coordinate the interface with product specialists and clients regarding banking products
Calls from credit partners information requests - internal; special projects
10% - Outside, interaction with VPs - participation with calls. Listens in order to gain an understanding. May provide data when requested.
10% - supporting clients; confirming all information has been received and follows-up as necessary regarding compliance reporting.
Highly proficient at researching information and gathering pertinent items to identify trends and anomalies
Growing expertise in core fundamentals of Corporate Finance

Extremely adept at understanding and interpreting requests

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated coursework in finance, economics or accounting a plus
