The Role Responsibilities
Accountable of deliver BI Solution across all Treasury projects
Represent BI Solution team across all projects, ensure solutions are built and successfully delivered, accountable for the business benefits.
Ensure that dashboards are developed in accordance to the best practices for optimal performance and load times.
Working closely with Treasury Modelling and Platform - Platform Solution team and accountable for validation of all Technology architecture design / solutions, ensure they are "fit-for-purpose" and is of "better practice".
Ensure the implementation of integrated solutions and processes across Treasury BI platforms, ensuring these are scalable, sustainable, and cost-efficient.
Ensure sound business methodology and accurate analytics through comprehensive test case coverage and high standards of documentation / prototyping.
Support delivery of strategic roadmap - leverage know-how from interim solutions to translate into Aspire requirements and validate solutions against these to ensure business needs are adequately met.
Drive BI Solution Agenda across Treasury
Setup Target Operating Model and Governance Framework in license management, dashboard standardization and issue escalation.
Create, build and promote BI Solution user community to ensure positive user experience
Ensure effective communication channel to provide frequent updates to Treasury on new development, project status, and business benefits.
Develop into the Tableau centre of excellence, having regular user training or knowledge sharing sessions to educate users on Tableau capabilities and to improve their capabilities in creating self-service dashboards.
Proactively search for opportunities to leverage on BI capabilities to drive efficiency and profitability throughout Treasury.
Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology (including vendors) stakeholders.
Work closely with stakeholders to gain understanding of business practices and suggest areas for automation of manual reporting.
Actively managing both on-shore and off-shore BI Solution team, overall responsible for resources, funding sources and project allocation.
Perform regular prioritization of work streams, ensure teams have context of tasks to be performed and are clear about their roles & responsibilities
Have frequent performance feedback conversations with directs. Initiate conversations on career development opportunities, how to upgrade individual skill sets and track progress throughout the year
Our Ideal Candidate
10+ years of work experience and 6+ years of Business Intelligence (BI) platform implementation experience in Banking as a functional consultant or, similar role.
General understanding of liquidity management, as well as balance sheet management concepts and dynamics across commercial and trading balance sheets.
Experience with Oracle BI, Tableau, Business Objects and/or similar.
Expertise in process automation, solution design, software product development or system implementation.
Expertise in Tableau design and development.
Ability to accurately gather and document business requirements and functional designs.
Work experience in end-to-end change management from business requirement definition, solution validation, user testing and production roll out.
Ability to manage multiple work streams, including working across different departments, countries and cultures.
Superb communication and presentation skills to varying levels of management
Pro-active and driven, fast learner with a "can do" attitude; strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of SCB internal processes, organization, systems and infrastructure is preferred.
Prior experience with Balance Sheet Management platforms (Moody's Analytics, Sungard, Oracle, etc.) or booking platforms (Murex, Kondor, etc.) is an advantage.
