This role is to be part of the SDCL Finance team and will be based in London. It would suit a junior finance professional that would enjoy working in a small, closely knit team and looking to progress in their finance career.
Preparing monthly management accounts to review level
Maintains financial records for SDCL and subsidiaries
Entering financial information into accounting software (Sage) for SDCL and subsidiaries
Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment
Prepare and issue of invoices
Preparation of reconciliations for bank accounts and other balance sheet control accounts
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Preparation of FCA returns and other regulatory returns
Assist with preparation of yearly statutory accounts and the audit
Manage the process of preparation of partnership tax returns with external tax adviser
Perform administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Profile & Skills desired:
Excellent attention to detail
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE and studying towards ACCA/CIMA
Experience working in a private equity / financial services environment is advantageous
Strong numerical and detail-orientated skillset is essential
Self-driven, quality and results-orientated with an ability to work well under pressure
Reliable, hardworking and ambitious
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to manage workload and prioritise work
Strong Microsoft Office skills - Excel, PowerPoint and Word
