The role sits within the Risk team, providing a range of second line support, review and challenge to the Chief Actuary. The role requires a minimum of 10 – 15 years' experience in the Actuarial field. Further requirements to have recent experience of working in a relevant 1st or 2nd line role, and have familiarity with the appropriate rules and regulations, relating to Solvency II. You will be providing risk validation support in relation to the existing internal model through supporting strong model governance and assessing, measuring and communicating insurance risk. Further to this, you will be required to support periodic assessment of the adequacy of technical provisions, reviewing assumptions, models and methodologies. A responsibility to draft reports and communicate with senior management and with relevant committees.
Minimum of 10 – 15 years of experience.
Strong analytical and numerical skills are required.
Must be familiar with Solvency II.
Experience working on partial or internal model.
Excellent stakeholder skills.
Qualified life actuary with several years of post-qualification experience.
Experience of communicating at C-Level.
Financial reporting experience.
Salary of £120,000 - £180,000 dependent on experience. London
