The Business Analyst role has come about from the substantial growth of the investment management business.
The Business Analyst must be familiar with Portfolio Management Systems and/or Trade Management Systems within Wealth Management as they will be responsible for supporting the implementation of this system into a number of international locations and business lines. In addition, they will be involved in regulatory reporting, primarily concerning MiFID II requirements. They will be proficient in analysis, system functionality and business understanding.
The Business Analyst must have strong investment management, family office and wealth planning understanding in respect of project management and business analysis.
Able to translate the investment management business requirements into required deliverables and demonstrate a strong understanding of the investment and wealth management environment.
Participate in and lead working group meetings with senior stakeholders to support project delivery.
Produce regular status updates for the Programme Steering Committee as well as communication with key stakeholders.
Produce MiFID II regulatory reporting e.g. Costs & Charges.
Business Analyst experience is essential from a Wealth Management or Investment Management background. Ideally Investment Management, Family Office or Wealth Planning.
Must be familiar with Portfolio Management Systems and/or Trade order management systems.
Demonstrable awareness of project implementations around Portfolio Management Systems and Trade Order Management Systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – capable of maintaining relationships with colleagues of all levels.
Good planning, organisational and structured delivery skills.
Strong analytic skills and ability to work with complex data.
Dynamic individual who is comfortable working in a smaller team environment.
