We are seeking a Workday Integration Developer to join our Workday Development team. This position will report to our Manager of Application Development in the HR technology team and be an integral part of our Workday development team and part of a cross-functional implementation team working to ensure the success of a global implementation program at PIMCO. This position will be located in Austin, TX office and must have experience developing and supporting HR and 3rd party integrations using the various Workday integration technologies. To be successful in this role, they must have a deep knowledge of Workday's integration technologies, Workday's implementation methodology, and work closely with internal and external resources. They will combine these skills to deliver and support successful integration deployments. Technical knowledge of data conversion, security configuration, reporting is required.
Develop Workday integrations development for a large implementation. Includes HCM, Payroll, Recruiting.
Demonstrated experience with Workday development tool sets. (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and calculated fields). Good technical experience with XSLT, XTT, XML and object-oriented development including Java. Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
Understands and provides input on integrating Workday into the larger Enterprise Architecture for the organization.
Manages and leads Integration development that leverages an agile mythology the focuses on accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolution
Design and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration tests
Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on integration related inquiries including testing and communications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership
4+ years of Workday project experience.
5+ years of experience in interface architecture
Bachelor's Degree in meaningful technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
Workday Pro Certified - Integrations, Studio, Core Connectors
Good communication skills
