My client, a Leading Global Bank based in London has a key permanent requirement for a Functional Analyst /Technical Business Analyst. You would be working within the firms brand new FinTech capability focusing on providing payments and cash management services.
As a strong Functional Analyst preferably within the Financial Services Industry or from a FinTech environment, you will need to have a strong background in Software Development in your earlier career before moving into a more Business Analyst focused role. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience e of working with Product Owners and Developers to create clear and concise requirements, helping test and trouble shoot across the full software development lifecycle when necessary.
Strong business and technical stakeholder management skills are a must for this position, they need someone with the strong technical background but who can also speak to the business as the current team set up is very development focused.
The ideal candidate must have:
3+ years of experience in a Software Development background
3+ years of Functional Analysis/Technical Business Analysis experience, preferably within Financial Services
Strong stakeholder management exposure and excellent communication skills are a must
Exposure to payments or cash management services would be highly beneficial due to the projects within this team
The role really does require someone who has that strong technical and business side to their background to come in and join an evolving and growing area of the business on an exciting book of work for a Global organisation.
