Cbus' highly successful Investments team has grown rapidly, with funds under management and the percentage of funds managed internally set to continue to increase. Our Strategy, Innovation and Strategic Investments ('S&I') team shapes Investments' strategy, leads the development of strategic and innovative initiatives for Investments, delivers Investments related strategic research, and enhances and cultivates strategic partnerships. The S&I team also has responsibility for managing and evolving our portfolio of strategic investments, including supporting and/or guiding the evaluation of new strategic investment opportunities as required.
As the Head of/Senior Manager Strategy & Investment Innovation, you will shape the strategic direction of our investment function and develop a portfolio of strategic and innovative initiatives for the 'business of investing'. You will lead the development of initiatives, including engaging the broader Investment Team and external stakeholders to ensure their successful implementation. In addition, you will deliver strategic research, promote innovation in Investments, and enhance and cultivate strategic partnerships in support of our objectives.
To be successful in this role you will require significant strategy experience and a deep understanding of the investment industry gained in a top tier institution (consulting/corporate/investment banking/ fund manager/ advisory/ project finance).
You will have demonstrated an ability to be strategic and innovative with a capacity to 'prove up' and deliver new ideas or investment opportunities. You will be adept at structuring and resolving complex problems. You will have exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence at the most senior levels. You will also have a track record of successfully managing diverse teams.
