Person: You will be responsible for handling branch account operations, focusing on Account and Services for Retail, QNB First, Private Banking, Staff, Treasury and Corporate customers. You will also be responsible for documentation review of account opening for the Retail, Treasury and Corporate Banking. Ensuring all customer signature data is managed efficiently, monitor exceptions and provide periodic reports to the Manager Central Operations are required.
Liaise with Relationship Managers in Retail, QNB First, Staff, Treasury and Corporate Banking to ensure that all documentation of opened / amendments / closed account signatures are received and completed.
Ensure opened / amended/closed/added signatures of the transaction which related to these accounts are received and completed.
Timely communicate the completion of opening accounts/ Amendment/closing/adding signature etc of the transaction which related to the accounts procedures to retail and corporate banking personnel to ensure timely customer service.
Review documentation with regards to accounts and ensure proper procedures were followed, red flags followed up, etc.
Follow KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) directives/ rules and regulations and best practices.
Knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and best practices relating to account opening/ closing/service.
University graduate preferably with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study).
At least 2 years of relevant banking experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills (including report writing) in English (Arabic/French preferred).
Computer skills (MS Office and bank applications).
Ability to effectively interact at all levels within the bank.
Knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and best practices relating to bank account opening / closing.
Knowledge of relevant KYC and other Anti-Money Laundering (AML) directives/ rules and regulations and best practices.
