Candidate will join FIC APAC E trading desk as a quantitative trader. The trading desk is responsible for pricing and risk managing electronic liquidity on FIC asset classes within APAC. The team builds and manages innovative quantitative pricing and risk management algorithms in order to meet client's liquidity requirements while generating sustainable commercial results. As part of the role you will partner with Technology to enhance the system and reduce operational risk and you will work closely with various partners in the bank to meet clients' needs.
Building a sustainable e business and market share.
Developing and building pricing and hedging algos.
Enhancing the existing electronic trading platform with our key partners globally.
Implementing analytics to analyse the existing portfolio for better understanding of risk dynamics and identify trading opportunities.
Interacting with clients, sales and internal counterparties in other trading, coverage and structuring functions to increase transparency and to generate new businesses.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience working on an algorithmic/electronic trading desk
Solid track record of running an e trading book and developing market making algo strategies
Strong knowledge in MMD/STIR products is a big plus although we are also open to strong candidates with background from other asset classes
Good understanding of market structure and regulatory landscape across Asian / other EM markets
Fluency in programming languages such as python, java/C++, kdb+&q is a must
Advanced degree in Statistic / Mathematics / Engineering is preferable
