Job Objective: To develop a deposit/GTS/T&M portfolio of high net worth Corporate & Institutional Clients and solicit business opportunities through various networks and personal connections to achieve the Bank's business goals in deposit balance, revenue generations and cross selling.
To follow the bank strategy and the business plans so as to solicit a substantial deposit portfolio.
To identify our customer needs with sound product knowledge, high quality service and full range of corporate banking services & products so as to increase our product penetration and wallet share.
To tailor make a one-stop corporate banking services & solutions for our target companies so as to meet their various banking needs.
To collaborate with internal parties, particularly Cash Management, Trade Services, T&M, Insurance Teams, on idea generation, campaign execution and end-to-end performance management.
To work closely with various inter-group parties to capture the maximum opportunity of building relationship with high net worth corporate and intermediary agents.
To take ownership for account compliance and KYC, and coordinate with internal parties for account conduct monitoring.
To assist the Team Head in driving the team to work towards a common goal.
To perform regulated activities, type 1 and 4 specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO).
To comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA and other regulatory bodies. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.
Build up a deposit portfolio by acquiring non-borrowing high net worth Corporate & Institutional Clients and explore the clients' needs by cross-selling our T&M, GTS, Trade Services and Insurance products so as to generate the interest and fee income.
Work closely with our different business units to secure the deals and achieve the assigned KPI.
Establish strong relationship and referral channel cross border with CPA & Solicitors Firms for acquiring clients' referrals.
Deliver a high quality, responsive and professional customer service to our clients.
Ensure full compliance with the Bank's policies, standards, guidelines & procedures; and the codes & ordinance laid down by the Government and the regulatory authorities, particularly those applicable to the course of selling.
With minimum 7 years' relevant experience in soliciting non-borrowing high net worth Corporate & Institutional Clients;
Solid experience in building deposit portfolio, strong cross selling capacity, extensive net work of referral parties;
Strong engagement capability with both internal and external;
University Graduate with major in Finance / Business
Registered RI (Regulated Activities Type 1 & 4) with passes in the HKSI Licensing Exam Papers 1, 7, 8 & 11 or equivalent.
