Better requires process, discipline, and simplification We'll be looking for you to lead team efforts to ensure robust governance and risk management of the AML function. You will have a proven track record of complex problem solving, and strong analytical skills. You will ensure effective reporting and escalation to senior management and maintain updated the AML Risk Register, liaising with local Central Contact Points and multiple process owners. In this role, you will be in the heart of the decision-making process, assuring participation and contribution to senior management meetings or committees as well as providing general assistance to the MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer) on Management Information and any governance matters.
For such a significant role, we require you to have experience within general compliance and/or risk-based compliance, as well as a good understanding of anti-money laundering regulations within the banking/financial services industry. You will need to have worked with policies and procedures, and governance related issues or risk management. In-Depth knowledge of the regulatory risk landscape, including AML regulations, is required for this role. Along with this, you will need to be analytically minded and comfortable in communicating and presenting to senior management. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.
