To become part of the Credit Suisse Chief Compliance Division that has the mandate is to be a proactive, independent function partnering with the business through continuous challenge and support to effectively manage compliance risk.
An exciting and challenging role as a Senior Compliance Officer located in Zurich reporting to the Head of IWM Middle East & Turkey and Africa & NRI Compliance for Switzerland
As single point of contact you act as a primary interface to the front office of our market areas by supporting and advising employees and senior management in relation to applicable local regulations and Credit Suisse Group policies, procedures and standards
You will be working very closely with Central Compliance functions in accordance with the global compliance mandate and in line with respective local regulatory requirements
You support our senior business and compliance management by communicating clearly and concisely on complex regulatory and compliance issues
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to assist in the compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Educate employees through regular training and awareness sessions to promote compliance to applicable laws, regulations as well as CS policies & procedures
Take an active role in the preparation of the annual Compliance Risk Assessment, create and implement the compliance action plan and monitoring programme
Be involved in the performance of monitoring activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies & procedures
Assist in investigating actual or potential breaches of law, regulation, policy and procedures in compliance with our Disciplinary Policy.
Raise material compliance matters to management, where appropriate
Being part of a highly motivated team that is acting in a dynamic and global environment
A University degree in law or business administration or an equivalent education
You have obtained at least 7 years of experience in a risk or compliance function.
Experience of Private Banking preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English essential, any additional language would be an advantage
