Job Description - Temporary Position
Main projects include reviewing the documentation used for our current ratings and ensuring they are archived according Fitch's policies. Records Administrator will be involved in all areas of our document management program, including working with electronic files on our network, electronic document system, various internal databases, as well as scanning paper documents. The position will also involve ad-hoc support provided to the Ratings Operations team.
Establish and maintain documents and records in appropriate files, including electronic document repository according to internal deadlines
Follow up with analysts to ensure files meet quality control standards
Assist analysts with requests to retrieve electronic records from various repositories
Update, maintain and create cataloging records using Microsoft Excel, MS Access, in-house databases and electronic document repositories
Scan, maintain and update physical records
Work on ad hoc projects as needed by the Operations group, including assisting the Ratings Operations team with data entry and analyst support
Associates degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
One or more years processing records, in either a corporate, library or archival environment
Ability to work within a time-sensitive environment
Ability to handle confidential material
Must have high level of attention to detail
Good oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
Thorough knowledge of business English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Thorough knowledge of business Spanish, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Thorough knowledge of business Portuguese, grammar, spelling, and punctuation is preferred in addition to English and Spanish
Ability to project a positive concerned image to analysts and coworkers, with a strong customer service approach
Ability to quickly learn new tasks and software as required
