How will I help? You'll have an essential role to play in an equally-essential part of the Westpac Group. It's a role that will see you partnering with key Consumer business stakeholders to maintain to proactively strengthen the management of risks. This 2nd Line operational role will have risk and controls across the Consumer division and you'll partner with Consumer to create a culture of continuous improvement, fostering creativity and collective problem solving increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of risk management processes

What do I need? This is a fast paced role with quite a bit of diversity across the day to day activities. You will need to be able to effectively manage your time and priorities to key deliverables are met
5 years of 2nd Line operational risk advisory experience; and/or 5 advisory experience in a related discipline (e.g. audit, compliance, assurance) across financial services
Demonstrable experience in influencing and challenging senior business leadership teams
Demonstrated experience in strategic thinking, problem solving and prioritisation
Relevant industry qualifications (risk, compliance or business-related).
