Events Comunication Executive - Marketing / Communication Hong Kong

In coordination with the respective team members, the scope of responsibility covers:
- Definition of the Hong Kong Events calendar in line with global guidelines and tools, with a structure based on Corporate client events (promoting the bank's brand and culture), Business client events (promoting the bank's business expertise and products), Social client events (relationship building without brand or business promotion), and Institutional events (all others) - Organisation of the activity and management of resources, orchestrating internal stakeholders and using outsourced resources as and when relevant - Selection, in collaboration with the Sourcing department, of the appropriate vendors: event organisers, production companies, specific vendors - Definition and implementation of the necessary tools to support the event's activity across the region, in alignment with global tools when applicable: events calendar, attendee and budget management, KPIs and reporting - Participate in defining the communication roadmap for Asia-Pacific
- Delivery of all external and internal events, in coordination with business lines and/or marketing teams for the delivery of client events - Taking briefs and translating objectives into events for SG's internal or external audiences - Orchestration and management of the relevant internal and external resources - Budget management and recharges
Budget and activity monitoring
- Manage and monitor communication budget for Events activity - Define Events KPI and metrics - Follow-up and regular reporting on activity and impact, including permanent supervision, risk control and audit.
The role also implies to assist the other Communication team members in Hong Kong as and when required, or other locations across Asia Pacific for their events strategy or delivery.

Area / context
The Communication department of Societe Generale Asia-Pacific (APAC) is ensuring:
The definition and implementation of the Communication strategy in the region (approx. 9,000 staff across 12 locations), in line with Societe Generale group communication and Asia-Pacific overall strategy and objectives;
The promotion of Societe Generale's brand, culture, values, and business expertise to its internal and external stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region across the different communication channels;
The support for their communication purposes and issues of its corporate functions and business activities, principally in Financing & Advisory, Global Markets and Investor solutions, Asset Management, and Transaction Banking.
The Communication department consists of a team based in Hong Kong and dedicated teams in key locations: China, India, Japan, and SE Asia. The activity is supported by different channels of the communication/marketing mix: - Branding & Advertising - Media Relations - Editorial & Digital - Partnerships - Events
Based in Hong Kong, working under the supervision of the Head of Communications - Asia Pacific, the Events Communication Executive ensures a transversal mission, delivering all required internal & external events across corporate and business priorities, ensuring the strategic positioning and management of events delivered in Hong Kong.
