How will I help?
As a Conduct Manager you play a key role in monitoring the Conduct Behaviour by our frontline employees and action the findings. Designing and implementing effective risk and compliance monitoring, which will support the Three Lines of Defence Model. You will also undertake root cause analysis of data across the Consumer division for Conduct related issues. Including the proactive identification of control gaps across the distribution network and the development of controls to close these.
You will lead by example to foster the development and maintenance of strong conduct, risk and control culture across the Group and reducing risks whilst also reporting on issues and recommending improvements to the business.

What do I need?
The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience of operational risk advisory experience ideally within the financial services industry. You may also have experience in a consulting/audit firm within financial services , although this isn't strictly necessary. If you have branch management experience, strong attention to detail, and are naturally curious, you may also be able to transition into this position. Strong knowledge of the St George Group's systems and processes is important along with, track record influencing key stakeholder, communication and prioritisation. And like everyone who works at Westpac, you'll make every decision with the customer front and centre.
