Leading global investor services firm offering a range of compliance, administration, asset and advisory services to alternative investment funds require a "Senior Risk & Compliance Manager". The "Senior Risk & Compliance Manager" will report directly into the Head of Compliance. The individual will have responsibility for managing and developing the Risk Management function and managed compliance oversight activities for regulated entities. The main facet of the role is to embed and maintain a Risk Management/Regulatory Oversight framework across the business to identify, assess and measure risk.
The "Senior Risk & compliance Manager" will be responsible for coordination, the management and reporting of all risks, issues, incidents and losses, ensuring all actions are in place to address root cause, production of reports ICAAP to meet regulatory requirements in line with FCA guidelines.
The successful individual will undertake the following;
Drive the risk function and lead the risk management team in delivering an integrated approach to risk management
Develop a risk management function that balances framework, policy and processes
Maintain and improve the risk management systems that identify risks facing the company and enable Risk Committees and Boards to make robust assessment of the principal risks
Set up appropriate risk appetite statements by determining the nature and extent of principal risks which the Group is willing to achieve as its strategic objectives

Build a network across the business to embed an appropriate risk culture
Ensure risk governance and risk policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements for the FCA
Contribute and lead on the production of annual ICAAP repots and quarterly risk reports, KRI's and risk dashboards
Experienced within risk management and compliance, and solid understanding of risk concepts and risk management techniques
Degree educated with financial services experience and appropriate risk management qualifications and focusing on operational risk management
Knowledge of relevant legislative requirements from the FCA and the awareness of expected future requirements
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to Senior Management and staff at all levels
