To handle legal matters in relation to general corporate and commercial / project finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture, real estate, and regulatory compliance matters;
To provide legal advice and support for group management and line managers on all legal matters across various Business Units and its subsidiaries and affiliates;
To draft, review and comment on a full range of legal and commercial documents and to lead negotiations for business deals; as well as legal and compliance review on credit review and contracts;
To identify risk areas and major potential risks of non-compliance, and make recommendation for remedial measure, control improvement and risk mitigation;
To conduct research on regulatory updates and analyze practical implication to the Group;
To liaise, monitor and manage the services of external counsel, paralegal and professional advisers;
A degree in Law or above, Hong Kong qualified solicitor with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Prior working experience in a corporate legal capacity in financial services / property investment or related field with a fast-paced, fast-evolving and dynamic environment is preferred;
Proven knowledge, skills, and experience in handling commercial transactions (including joint ventures and acquisitions), corporate and commercial financing, Hong Kong property transactions (including asset and equity acquisition), settlement of claims and disputes will be an advantage;
Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
