Compliance Officer Overview of the role We are looking for a new member of the Schroder Adveq Compliance team to support Schroder Adveq's Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) in her tasks and responsibilities and work closely with the various business units of Schroder Adveq and the Compliance department of the Schroders group. Key responsibilities
Providing Compliance advice and support to the Business and Management in compliance related matters, in particular on regulatory and Compliance developments and trends, AML/KYC, Cross-border and Investment Management matters.
Review of marketing material
Maintaining and updating Schroder Adveq's Compliance program (incl. Compliance policies and procedures, Conflicts of Interest Register).
Providing advise to policies and procedures and assist employees in submitting quarterly and annual reports and various Compliance requests / Review of marketing material
Conducting of Compliance monitoring activities, thematic reviews and risk assessments.
Supporting the implementation of issues highlighted in external and internal audits, Compliance monitoring and regulatory reports.
Preparing reporting to relevant regulators and Schroders Group Compliance
Academic background, preferably in Legal or Business Administration
At least 5 years working experience in Banking & Finance, of which at least 3 years in Compliance. Prior work experience in Asset Management (in particular Private Equity) is an advantage.
A keen interest in the business of Private Equity and legal, regulatory and risk management environment in which it is conducted.
Strong interpersonal skill with the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders.
Solid analytical skills with attention to details, and a structured approach to working and solving problems.
Precise communication in German and English.
