For the Compliance department in our company State Street Bank International GmbH in Frankfurt (Solmsstrasse) we are looking for a Global Markets Compliance Analyst (m/f/d) with immediate effect - Job ID R-631150.
Analyze new initiatives, laws and rules relevant in the markets in which the Bank is represented and does business
Maintain the Bank's inventory of laws, rules and regulations and support the testing as part of the local and global Compliance Oversight Program
Review, assess and approve the compliance-relevant aspects of new products and services for State Street Bank International GmbH
Support the global Compliance Oversight Program by training colleagues to initiate and establish efficient and effective controls for new products and services
Perform monitoring and oversight of the Bank's London and Frankfurt branch in regard to Compliance matters and the Global Markets services provided by it
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of German and European requirements including amongst others KWG, MaRisk, MaComp, MiFID, CRD IV, CRR, BRRD and other applicable laws, rules and regulations
Successfully completed Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal, Audit and/or Business Administration; CFA exam beneficial
Substantial Financial Services experience covering areas including Trade Compliance, Risk Management, or Audit
Proficiency in evaluating new products and services according to UK and German regulations
Experience of the activities and roles of custodian banks and in EMEA beneficial
Fluency in German and English
Ability to research and analyze industry regulations, communicate the salient points and to interact with Senior Management
Strong analytical, prioritization and time management skills
Very good communication and interpersonal skills as well as willingness to develop core competencies in Compliance
Team player who takes over tasks from colleagues if necessary and assists the entire team
Willingness to travel if required
