The Finance Risk and Infrastructure Business Solutions team (FRIBS) is responsible for providing business and data solutions for Finance, Treasury and Risk teams. The successful candidate must be a strong, decisive, and results-oriented individual in order to lead and drive technology and governance solutions to business needs.
As a Risk Data Manager, working within the Risk Data Repository (RDR), the candidate will lead complex assignments and projects across Finance and Risk . RDR supports key Finance and Risk regulatory processes such as Regulatory Capital, Regulatory Reporting, Limit Management, SCCL and various Risk Management Reporting. The job will require the candidate to understand Risk and Capital data issues and resolve them within RDR. The ideal candidate will have a strong ownership mindset and strive to develop fundamental subject matter expertise in the areas of business and technology as they relate to RDR.
Required Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities:
7+ years' experience working within the financial services industry with an emphasis on Risk and Capital rules and data requirements.
Strong data analysis and use of data analysis to drive business/solution results
Baseline understanding of (1) Risk processes, (2) regulatory landscape and (3) financial products
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong SQL database experience required for querying, data drill down, and data analysis.
Lead Business User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts for assigned projects to meet strict sign-off deadlines.
Excellent meeting facilitation and presentation skills; as well as strong written and verbal communication skills to support daily interactions with business stakeholders, IT, and Audit.
Strong experience with data and business analysis, business requirements gathering, and Business Requirements Documentation (BRD).
Effectively manage working relationships across Risk, Business Units and IT stakeholder groups to support monthly production release cycles.
Excellent critical thinking and collaboration skills to provide business solutions to complex problems by leveraging technology.
Strong experience and comfortability working with complex datasets, understanding of data lineage, and documentation of business attributes captured in various databases; strong Excel skills required.
