The opportunity to provide broad ranging compliance input in relation to private bank product offerings.
You will develop best-in-class business and compliance practices by challenging the status quo and actively engaging in process design.
You will actively participate in private banking product related initiatives and facilitate the awareness and syndication of regulatory risk through engagement with multiple stakeholders across compliance, legal and COO functions.
You will provide well-reasoned compliance second line of defense challenge in matters relevant to the Hong Kong business.
As part of a broader team, you will develop scalable compliance processes using technology to drive efficiency and risk related outcomes.
You will drive and execute compliance risk assessments and mapping of regulations, taking into account end-to-end processes of the business and identifying potential gaps during the process.
You will keep track and maintain a knowledge base of product related regulations and compliance knowhow as well as supporting the formulation and implementation of policy.
You will continually assess regulatory risk, potential compliance issues and regulatory breaches pertaining to multiple product lines and raise material items to compliance management.
You will co-ordinate and perform second line checks to ensure effectiveness of actions implemented.
You will participate in relevant governance committee or working groups.
You will Plan and deliver briefing or training on compliance or regulatory requirements.
You will backup other team members and provide support to the team if required.

5-10 years working experience in the financial or professional services industry.
A positive, flexible can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Attention to detail and a team oriented outlook.
University degree or higher.
Experience in private banking, a professional background (legal, risk, audit, consulting) or regulatory bodies with a focus on financial products and regulations would be a significant advantage.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Collaborative mind-set and able to work effectively within a team.
You will have proven project management skills and an ability to work with multiple partners across front office and senior management
MS Word, Excel and Power Point skills.
