Our client is a global alternative investment management firm specialized in fixed income and private equity investments. For their fixed income L-S strategy they have a sharp ratio above 2 and the volatility is below 4.
They have excellent track record with the core investment team having been together for almost 20 years. The investment track record is top quartile and they never have any problems raising money from pension funds, family offices and other institutional client base. Due to the lack of exposure to other fund raising market since inception they are now keen to expand their business and capture a bigger AUM.
they have now set up an office in Singapore where they intend to sell their flag ship products and with a view to manufacture Asian funds as well. They have had some success already with large Korean and Japanese investors but would like to find an experienced Institutional sales fund raiser to cover Asia Pacific. Last year they raised USD 1.5bn and are expecting to raise USD 1 bn in Asia as well.
