The Role – Strategic Integration Group - Data Disruption
The financial industry is evolving rapidly in its adoption of technology, data, robotics and artificial intelligence. Data in particular is becoming a key part of the industry and its future as the fuel that drives the flow of information between participants and the measure that helps us understand the workflow.
The Transaction Management team is undertaking a significant evolution as it seeks to leverage data to support the analysis of the processing of the >30m transactions, the resource expended on these transactions during the workflow and the performance of our team and that of our agents (the other participants in the transaction).
This project is important since it is expected that the project will help BLK drive down costs significantly by identifying areas or partners for improvement, quantifying those problems and measuring the success of any changes implemented. In addition, the project will help us evaluate the costs to BLK of the workflow across different parameters which will help BLK make better business decisions in the future.
This role is a pivotal role on our journey down the data road as we seek to take a big step forwards in our data analytical capabilities.
