The Role Responsibilities
Processes (Treasury Risk Reporting)
Review daily/monthly Group/Solo/ Regional liquidity metrics and provide relevant business commentary
Explain drivers and escalate liquidity risk to senior management issues
Prepare the packs for committees like Treasury Markets Risk forum/GRC/BRC etc and highlight key risk issues
Oversee the offshore GFS team in Chennai/Bangalore to ensure BAU reporting is smooth and facilitate the implementation of change initiatives.
Facilitate the central ownership of Treasury Risk processes and establish a standardised approach across countries.
Risk Management (Analytics)
Develop and maintain an overarching domain understanding of Treasury Risk metrics that include Liquidity (Regulatory, Stress Testing, Balance Sheet) and IRRBB (Income and economic value sensitivity)
Assist in embedment of changes in Group Board Risk appetite
Analyse and communicate the balance sheet risk drivers at the Group/Solo level to senior management
Leverage technology tools to improve the preparation and visualisation of data to increase end-to-end efficiency of the analytical process
Assist the wider department to optimise the balance sheet from a Treasury perspective
Support the governance and controls around Treasury Risk processes such as Operational Risk, Audits and Liquidity Risk Reviews.
Work with the reporting team to ensure implementation of BCBS239 principles and Treasury risk has adequate assurance as a process owner
Work closely with country and Group stakeholders to ensure a business focus on analytics and associated commentary.
Work closely with Treasury stakeholders and GFS to highlight the interplay of liquidity risk metrics and impact to overall liquidity management
Highlight key pain points in relation to data, processes or methodologies and drive actions from the infrastructure/process teams
Risk Management (Change)
Assist with the planning and design for the end-state reporting and analytics infrastructure for Treasury Risk consistent with Aspire objectives (e.g. Strategic Daily Liquidity Risk Report).
Provide business requirements for the bank wide infrastructure projects
Our Ideal Candidate
 years+ experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Treasury
Experience in Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book is a distinct advantage
Demonstrable expertise in dealing with data challenges around volume and quality
Proven ability to work independently, self-starter and establish relationships with offshoring teams
Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Risk Management
